Close Monitoring of water delivery conducted by Bukidnon IMO Operations personnel to ensure the efficient flow in areas served by Lumbayao Dam. Steel gates that needs repair were temporarily cutoff for only a short time (one day only) to give way of the repair .

NIA Bukidnon IMO conducts regular maintenance of terminal facilities such as repair and maintenance of steel gates in Lateral I , Batangan Masaganang Farmers IA area and the head gate near Lateral D located at Vintar Valencia City on October 1, 2020. The repair was undertken to ensure the equitable delivery of water supply in the area.

NIA – Region 10 hosts the virtual IFAD-INREMP REALLOCATION PROGRAM REMOTE START-UP workshop for five days starting July 27-31, 2020 held in NIA- R10 conference room, Carmen Cagayan de Oro City.

The objective of the workshop is to refine understanding and ownership about the Project among all key implementers in NIA, the concerned local government units (LGUs) and the Irrigator’s Association (IAs) namely; Bubong, Ditsa-an,Lumba-Bayabao, Maguing, and Islamic City of Marawi.

The threat of the novel virus has not dampened the spirit of our farmers to tend to their crops and to provide the much needed food essentials to every Filipino household in Mindanao. NIA Region 10 is also resilient in our delivery of services with a total of 41,007 hectares of irrigated lands for this cropping season. This has benefitted 39,080 farmers and  ensured continued agricultural productivity.

Bukidnon IMO Operations and Maintenance Personnel conducted canal clearing and water level monitoring activities on April 1-3, 2020 to ensure efficient water delivery such as:

1. Repair of Drainage Canal at the downstream portion of Lat-1 at Batangan, Valencia City.

2. Repaired the cable of the lifting mechanism at the South Main Canal Intake Gate.

3. Opening of sluice way during the scheduled water cut off at the South Main Canal intake gate.

The Employees of NIA Region 10 headed by Regional Manager Constancio G. Bana-ay, Jr. greeted Happy Birthday to Administrator Gen Ricardo “Bong” R Visaya (Ret). In line with the Birthday Celebration of the Administrator is a simultaneous nationwide Bloodletting Activity with a theme “Dugtong Buhay ni Bong” on December 9, 2019.
