In the project implementation, IFAD required the NIA-IO to comply with the national law. As of 15 February 2021, Certificate of No Overlap for 10 CISs was issued on February 4, 2021. The water permit applications of 10 CISs are ready for submission to NWRB. Clearance on Protected Area for Lake Lanao and surrounding watersheds was issued on January 28, 2021. Pending for compliance is the Tree Cutting Permit and Chainsaw & Genset Permit which will be issued by BARMM-MENRE.
