NIA – Region 10 hosts the virtual IFAD-INREMP REALLOCATION PROGRAM REMOTE START-UP workshop for five days starting July 27-31, 2020 held in NIA- R10 conference room, Carmen Cagayan de Oro City.
The objective of the workshop is to refine understanding and ownership about the Project among all key implementers in NIA, the concerned local government units (LGUs) and the Irrigator’s Association (IAs) namely; Bubong, Ditsa-an,Lumba-Bayabao, Maguing, and Islamic City of Marawi.
Among the salient topics discussed, are the overview of IFAD country strategy and approach for the Philippines and review of the implementation arrangements including its coordination with LGUs, BARMM and other concerned agencies.
A series of Technical sessions will follow on the succeeding days to further discuss the financial Management, Procurement and Contract management, Project management, Monitoring (M&E) and Coordination Procedures. The compliance on Social and Environment Safeguards will also be part of these sessions
